Papa Rouyo Antipodes matured white

Derived from sugar cane R579, commonly known as red cane, grown by the sea on the clay-limestone soils of the Moule area located in the extreme east of the island of Grande Terre, this version rested for 450 days, or 15 months, in vats and was then very slightly reduced to 64%.

Restoring at first, in a way that could not be more evocative, perfumes and fruity flavors (pear, apple) then remarkable lemony tones of vivacity, its aromatic and gustatory palette then leads us, and as if backwards, to notes of sugar and cane juice of great sweetness.

Papa Rouyo

The Papa Rouyo adventure is the result of the work of a collective of Moule planters in Guadeloupe who, eager to enhance their sugar cane, share the same passion for the transmission and traditional know-how of sugar cane cultivation.

  • Distilled in Papa Rouyo, Goyave, Guadeloupe
