First aged in new French barrels with a strong heating, the rum is then matured in cognac barrels. The mahogany dress with amber reflections calls for gluttony. The nose confirms reveals dark chocolate, aromas of encaustic, notes of orange peel and sweet spices. The palate is unctuous and mineral, marked by cocoa powder and gingerbread, notes of brown sugar and blond tobacco.

Éritaj will go perfectly with smoky flavors such as a curly chicken and desserts based on orange and chocolate. For the atmosphere, it will accompany a Montecristo Cigar n°3

The Papa Rouyo adventure is the result of the work of a collective of Moule planters in Guadeloupe who, eager to enhance their sugar cane, share the same passion for the transmission and traditional know-how of sugar cane cultivation.
