The El Dorado 21 Year Old is the crowning achievement of Demerara Distillers' range. Twenty-one years of tropical ageing in Diamond's cellars have produced a rum of extraordinary concentration and complexity. La Part Des Anges considerable makes each bottle all the more precious, making this rum a collector's item as much as a tasting nectar.
The sublime
The nose is monumental: noble rancio, black fruits, bitter cocoa, havana tobacco, precious woods and oriental spices. The palate is extraordinarily dense , almost oily, unfolding layers of ancient caramel, leather, roasted coffee, chestnut honey and dried figs. The finish is dizzyingly long. A rum that is close to perfection and fully justifies every minute of its 21 years of patience.
