The Dalmore Luminary N°2 is distinguished by its unique maturation process. Initially aged in American white oak barrels that have contained bourbon, it is then sublimated by a maturation in Graham's Tawny Port pipes and Apostoles sherry casks. This process gives the whisky an unrivalled complexity and depth of flavour, all enhanced by a slight touch of peat.
Tasting notes
When tasted, the Dalmore Luminary N°2 reveals a harmony of flavours, where notes of ripe fruit mingle with aromas of dark chocolate and sweet spices. The Port and Sherry cask finish brings elegant hints of vanilla and caramel, while the light peat adds a subtle smoky dimension.
