Sophisticated ageing
This single malt begins its maturation in American white oak bourbon barrels, developing notes of vanilla and caramel. Its maturation in sherry casks then gives it richness and intensity, with aromas of dried fruit, spices and chocolate.
A balanced flavour profile
Structured and refined, Dalmore 15 years offers a gourmet aromatic palette. The nose reveals notes of ripe fruit, orange zest and toasted almonds. On the palate, flavours of raisins, cinnamon and dark chocolate harmonize with woody and spicy touches.
A long and persistent finish
The tasting ends with a silky and persistent finish, where sweet spices and cocoa subtly mix. A whisky with character, ideal for pure tasting, revealing all the finesse of the know-how Dalmore.
Our tasting notes for 15 years
Nose : fin et léger. Marqué par un subtil mélange de pêche et de pomme cuites, il évolue sur des notes de brioche et de pain au levain. Puis viennent ensuite les épices, le zeste d'orange et l'herbe mouillée, lui conférant fraîcheur et finesse.
Palate : fine, très présente, elle confirme les arômes du nez et se développe sur le malt, les épices (gingembre, cannelle, clou de girofle) et une délicate impression biscuitée, sur l'orange et le chocolat.
Finish : très longue et gourmande, elle se révèle particulièrement dense sur le café et un léger boisé vanillé.
