Founded by two enthusiasts, Christophe Aulner and Bruno Le Merle, the Emperor brand explores new dimensions of rum. Far from traditional blends, Royal Spiced is based on a method of gradual maceration, enriching its aromatic profile.

A multi-stage maturation

This rum rests successively in barrels that have contained cardamom, cinnamon, star anise and vanilla. Each passage brings spicy and fragrant nuances, creating remarkable depth and complexity.

This brand new rum brand was born from the imagination of two enthusiasts, Christophe Aulner, recently installed in Mauritius, and Bruno Le Merle, a local entrepreneur. Their idea? Offer rums assembled with eaux-de vie distilled from pure cane juice and molasses. And there is a certain logic to this project seeing the light of day in Mauritius. The island was first under French (1714-1810) and then English (1810-1968) before gaining independence (1968).
