An independent bottler known for its bold choices, Swell de Spirits is honoring the Monymusk distillery, an emblematic reference for Jamaican rum. Distilled in 2010, this rum benefits from a combined ageing of 8 years in a tropical climate and then 7 years in Europe, bringing balance and complexity. This approach makes it possible to combine aromatic intensity and precision, the signature of great tasting spirits.

Constantly evolving aromatic expression

This rum reveals a particularly evolving profile. The nose opens with medicinal notes (eucalyptus, camphor, varnish), before revealing a rich fruity palette: green banana, papaya, apricot and candied lemon. Pastry nuances then appear, evoking brioche, almond and vanilla. On the palate, the attack is dry and structured, marked by exotic fruits, spices (pepper, cinnamon) and an elegant woodiness, enriched with touches of blond tobacco, dark chocolate and toasted almond.

A long and structured finish

The finish, long and warm, extends the experience with notes of vanilla, toasted oak and bitter cocoa, supported by a persistent minty freshness. This Jamaican rum is distinguished by its ability to evolve at every moment, offering a rich, complex and perfectly mastered tasting.
