It bears the AHJ (common clean) mark, meaning among other things a distillation in an iron still and a target level of esters at the outlet of the still contained between 60 and 90 grams per hectolitre of pure alcohol.

This rum was aged for more than 23 years in a former bourbon barrel, initially in a tropical climate , before being transported to Scotland for the second part of the ageing process. Bottled in Scotland in September 2022 in 181 pieces. Unchilled, dye-free and cask strength.
