Discussions have been going on all this time to confirm the aging process of whiksy, leading to its commercialization. This is the first initiative of the Japanese whisky industry: to market blended malt whisky, which is made by combining malt whisky aged in the regions of each of the distilleries. The uniqueness of the Komagatake and Chichibu styles, harmonized together, this bottle is a Japanese malt whisky aged at Shinshu distillery.

Mars

Originally from Japan, the Mars distillery has a history as tumultuous as it is out of the ordinary. Its founder is none other than Kiichiro Iwai, the man behind the departure for Scotland of the famous Masataka Taketsuru and especially owner of a spirits company producing shochu (Japanese brandy). The Shinshu Mars distillery enjoys an exceptional geographical location offering its whisky a singular character.
