When the history of rum meets that of football

For this 2026 World Cup edition, Saint James a nod to a bottle that became emblematic during the 1998 World Cup, a year marked by the coronation of the French team and the exploits of a famous number 10. As Marc Sassier, the distillery's production manager, points out, this cuvée is part of this continuity by combining sporting heritage and the excellence of Martinique agricultural rum. With only 1,260 units produced, it will appeal to lovers of great spirits as well as collectors sensitive to this reference.

A 2015 vintage shaped by time

Coming from a dry year particularly favourable to the aromatic expression of rum, this vintage was put in barrels on 1 July 2015 and then deposed on 5 September 2025. Its ten years of ageing in 200-litre American oak barrels and 350-litre French oak barrels gives it a beautiful complexity. Its clear and brilliant mahogany colour precedes a nose marked by a frank woodiness, evolving towards notes of stewed fruit, pineapple and plum, enhanced by a toasted touch. The palate, balanced and smooth, stretches on a roasted finish with nuances of blond tobacco.
