The legendary story of the Classic Magnum Photos Edition Series 2 - Saint James 12 years

The Saint James distillery, founded in 1765, has its origins in the "Trou Vaillant" dwelling. Renamed in 1882 by Paulin Lambert, it has survived many challenges, including the eruption of Mount Pelee in 1902. Transferred to Sainte-Marie in 1974, the Saint James distillery is today a symbol of the excellence of AOC agricultural rum, now under the aegis of La Martiniquaise.

An agricultural rum with a unique character

Classic Magnum Photos Edition Series 2 - Saint James 12 Year Old is a 12-year-old agricultural rum that goes beyond the borders of the West Indies to compete with some Scottish single malts. Its barrel aging process gives this rum woody and spicy aromas, enriched by a beautiful complexity.

Captivating tasting notes

This rum reveals intense flavours of ripe fruit, caramel and noble wood. On the palate, its perfect balance reveals a long and slightly smoky finish, reminiscent of the best Scotch whiskies while retaining the authenticity of the Martinique terroir.
