A unique and experimental vintage

This Single Cask 2006 is the result of an experiment carried out with a subsidiary of the Radoux cooperage in California, aimed at analysing the influence of American oak on the ageing of rum. Aged in a barrel from Missouri, it has slowly developed an elegant woody structure and a singular aromatic profile, testifying to the know-how of the House Trois Rivières.

Controlled ageing for intense expression

Placed in barrels on August 2, 2006 and bottled on April 5, 2013, this cuvée has a strength of 45.2%. Its ageing in American oak barrels gives this rum a balanced roundness and power, sublimated by deep and greedy aromas.

A sophisticated flavour profile

On the nose, Trois Rivières - Vintage 2006 - Single Cask US Missouri Cask reveals a beautiful intensity, with notes of exotic wood, Virginia tobacco and macerated fruit. On the palate, complexity is expressed through flavours of honey, liquorice and gingerbread. The finish is tender and refreshing, marking a perfect balance between the power of rum and the sweetness of Missouri oak.
