Product Overview

Distilled at the Galion distillery in Martinique, this Grand Arôme rum expresses all the uniqueness of its origins. Aged for one year in vats and then matured for three months in terracotta amphorae, Vagabond Spirits - WTF No2 WTF "Pineapple" Jamaica Galion Grand Arôme develops an aromatic profile that is both rich and perfectly structured. With an ester content of 530 g/hLAP and 1321 g/hLAP of volatile compounds, it combines intensity and balance. Less than 150 bottles make up this confidential series.

Tasting notes

The nose opens with powerful notes of candied pineapple, cooked fruit, olive and brine, accompanied by an empyreumatic register typical of the Galleon: burnt rubber, harlequin candy. On the palate, caramelized pineapple dominates, followed by a hint of green olive and smoky accents. The finish, very long, is distinguished by a saline and vegetal freshness, all in persistence and finesse.
