A signature of the HSE distillery

La Habitation Saint-Étienne, an essential reference for Martinique agricultural rum , is committed to revealing the diversity of its terroir through ambitious cuvées. Faithful to this requirement, the Cuvée de l'an 2016 VO is part of a process of experimentation around ageing, exploring all the subtleties of American white oak.

A three-year ageing revealing complexity

This old AOC Martinique rum is made from the famous white rum vintage 2016, aged for three years. This maturation reveals a finely woody aromatic profile, preserving the original freshness of the rum while developing warm and spicy notes.

Tasting notes

On the nose, aromas of citrus, cocoa and roasted notes. The palate, round and unctuous, evokes mocha, Bourbon vanilla and candied fruit. The finish is distinguished by subtle notes of sandalwood and cardamom.
