The year 1939 is of particular importance, as it marks the last rum production before the war. You can find an advertisement from that time in the photo gallery.

Due to restrictions and problems with maritime traffic, only the rum from 1941 was actually sold. In the photo gallery, you can see the portrait of Empress Josephine accompanied by a message informing loyal customers of the impossibility of delivering their favorite rum.
