The Savanna distillery, between tradition and uniqueness

Located on the Bois-Rouge site, the Savanna Distillery is one of the most emblematic in Reunion Island. It stands out for its mastery of the "Great Aroma" profile, obtained through a long and complex fermentation. Its Savalle column still allows for a very precise distillation, preserving the depth and complexity of the aromas.

A 2010 vintage of remarkable intensity

Le Savanna - The Wild Island - Grand Arôme 13 Year Old Arbre Feu was aged in ex-sherry casks n°387 in cell n°3 for thirteen years, before being bottled cask strength at 60.9%. Made from Bois-Rouge molasses, this extra aged rum shows an exceptional aromatic intensity. Limited to 450 bottles, it embodies a unique know-how and the strength of the Reunionese volcanic terroir.
