Designed by Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950, the Savanna distillery has been located since 1992 on the Bois Rouge sugar site located in the north-east of Reunion Island. It is one of the only ones in the world to market a rum resulting from a very long fermentation (15 days) called "great aroma".
