A legend inspired by Prohibition

The Real McCoy brand pays homage to Bill McCoy, a daring smuggler who, during Prohibition, sold rum from his ship anchored off the coast of New York. Its reputation for offering only authentic, unadulterated rum gave rise to the phrase "the real McCoy."

Elaboration and character

Distilled at the Foursquare distillery, this 2016 vintage has been aged for 12 years in Bourbon and Madeira barrels, giving the rum complexity and elegance. The palate combines cane, molasses and vanilla, while the nose develops notes of coconut, apple and refined wood. A rum with character, balanced and sophisticated.
