History of the distillery
Founded over three generations, the La Favorite distillery remains one of the few family farms in Martinique to maintain a profoundly artisanal operation. The Dormoy family is careful to preserve historical techniques, including the use of a 1920 steam engine to operate the cane crusher. This fidelity to ancient methods embodies the authenticity sought by lovers of agricultural rum.
Presentation of the cubi
La Favorite – The Authentique Cubi 2L is the result of this sustainable know-how. This white rum, known for its crystalline colour, is made from pure cane juice. It has an alcohol content of 40°, a classic degree for a Martinican rum intended for cocktails and traditional preparations such as ti-punch, punch or planteur. Its 2-litre cubi packaging is a practical format for events and large tables.
Tasting notes
This white rum reveals notes of cane of great freshness, accompanied by a marked sweetness and a controlled balance that contributes to a pleasant aromatic experience.

La Favorite is a family and independent distillery, one of the last in Martinique It distills, every year for nearly 180 years, about 450,000 liters of agricultural rum in an authentic and artisanal way.
