La Favorite Coeur de cane Raised in wood
An authentic Martinican heritage
The La Favoritedistillery, one of the last family-owned and independent distilleries in Martinique, has been perpetuating an artisanal know-how of agricultural rum for generations. Committed to production that respects the terroir, it makes its rums exclusively from pure freshly pressed cane juice, in compliance with the standards of the AOC Martinique.
A controlled and expressive ageing
Cœur de Canne Aged in Wood is aged for 24 months in oak barrels, combining the vegetal vivacity of white rum with the first notes of woody roundness. This singular profile seduces with its balance between freshness and aromatic maturity.
Tasting notes
The nose is fresh and floral, enriched with vanilla and spicy accents. On the palate, aromas of flambéed banana mingle with flavours of toasted wood and vanilla. The finish, long and subtle, allows honeyed and spicy touches to express themselves.
