Thanks to this 2008 Single Cask, Hacienda Coloma offers us a unique expression of its know-how. Aged in ex-Bourbon barrels, this old rum is then matured in barrels that have contained coffee liqueur from the Hacienda Coloma.

This is truly the signature finish of the distillery. A Single Cask, so a unique barrel that offers us a liquid photograph of a year, in this case the 2008 vintage. His nose is voluptuous. It opens with notes of caramel and vanilla sprinkled with sweet spices. The mouth is unctuous. It confirms the aromas of the nose and takes on espresso flavors announcing the roasted finish on the coffee beans.

Coloma

The history of Coloma rum is intimately linked to that of the Constain family. Although he was recently born thanks to Alberto Constain Cenzano, it all started with his father, Alberto Constain Medina, in 1959. That year, the young entrepreneur became the proud owner of a family country house built in the late nineteenth century in Fusagasugá, in the heart of Colombia.
