For the production of this rum, Barceló has selected 150 hectares of sugar cane preserved for 5 years from any chemical treatment, grown in Organic Farming without fertilisers and with natural irrigation to meet organic standards. The rum is aged in new American oak barrels and the annual production is limited to a few hundred thousand bottles.
