Renegade Rum Westerhall Column still
The southern end of our farms is nestled between the coastal road and the swampy mangroves of Westerhall Bay, in front of its distillery, now in ruins.
Here, moisture-retaining soils, enriched by the heritage of coconut and cocoa trees, provide a fertile and green terroir.
For this rum, we harvested the sucrose-rich variety we call Clean Ester, which is found on the terroir known as Old River.
