A preserved legacy of The Good Intention

La Bonne Intention (LBI), a former emblematic distillery of Guyana located on the banks of the Demerara, ceased its activities in 1959. Its know-how continues today thanks to Demerara Distillers Limited, which has պահպանé the original brand and recipe. This rum is thus part of the continuity of a rare heritage, passed down and respected over the decades.

Expression of a historic Savalle still

Distilled in 2013 on Diamond's four-column Savalle column, this rum benefits from a continental ageing of 13 years. This method gives a controlled evolution, highlighting the structure of the distillate and its balance. This spirit perfectly illustrates the style of Guyana rums, both complex and deeply rooted in their origin.

Structured Flavour Profile

The profile reveals notes of fudge cream, nougat and roasted peanuts, enriched by nuances of chocolate, as well as herbaceous and woody touches. The whole offers a rich and harmonious tasting, typical of rums from artisanal distilleries and long maturations in barrels.
