The Velier Vieux Sajous 5 Year Old 2019 comes from the Chelo distillery, located in Saint-Michel de l'Attalaye. This Haitian rum is made from the Cristalline sugar cane variety, a key ingredient to obtain an exceptional aromatic richness. Aged for five years, it benefits from a blend of casks from prestigious distilleries such as Mount Gay, Caroni, Hampden, and even Tennessee Whiskey Jack Daniel's and single malt Benriach.

An oxidative and complex profile

This cuvée explores seductive oxidative aromas, evoking macerated fruit and surprising complexity. The marriage of the different casks brings a fascinating aromatic diversity, which wonderfully balances the depth of maturity and the liveliness of youth.
