A distillery with a unique heritage

Founded in 1947 by Danish Vaval, the Arawaks distillery is now run by his son Fritz. She cultivates 20 hectares of Madame Meuze sugar cane , an emblematic local variety. Its continuous Creole column still , equipped with ten trays and an artisanal condenser, gives the distillates a singular and authentic character.

Exclusive ageing

Distilled in 2015, Vaval Friends 2015 Single ex-Whisky Cask No.50 was aged in 2021 in a single cask that contained whisky. This process gives it additional complexity, enriching its profile with unique aromas and texture.
