A clairin from a living tradition

In Haiti, clairin production is based on a network of more than 500 guildives, perpetuating unique artisanal methods. Launched in 2012, The Spirit of Haiti project promotes these distilleries and their authenticity. Sajous comes from Saint-Michel-de-l'Attalaye, where the crystalline cane is grown locally and processed according to traditional practices.

Exceptional barrel ageing Caroni

This old rum has been aged for 8 years in a tropical climate in a single barrel that has contained Caroni. The #SA17CR-9 cask, selected for France, gives the spirit structure and depth, while respecting the identity of the clairin of origin.

Structured and expressive aromatic profile

This clairin reveals a greedy and expressive profile, marked by notes of pepper, citrus and ginger. The whole offers a balance between liveliness, complexity and intensity, characteristic of great spirits from artisanal distilleries.
