The Rest & Be Thankful Monymusk 9 Year Old - 2012 - MDR is an authentic Jamaican rum, from the Monymusk distillery (Clarendon). Distilled in pot still in 2012 from local molasses, it has been double-aged, first in a tropical climate in American oak barrels, then in Scotland, where it was bottled without cold filtration by the British house Rest & Be Thankful in mars 2022. On the palate, the richness of the esters blends with a subtle roundness, offering a harmonious balance between power and sweetness. The finish, long and elegant, extends the experience with woody and slightly smoky notes.
