Created to commemorate the 900th anniversary of the foundation by St Bruno in 1084 of the Great Chartreuse, the abbey in which the first Carthusian monks settled, Chartreuse Liqueur du 9ème Centenaire has an alcohol content of 47%, and shares certain points in common with the green and yellow cuvées - the aromatic profile of the green, Sweetness of the yellow - while having its own character.
