Ageing inspired by whisky

Lucien Fohine, a great whisky lover, has initiated a unique tradition at Dzama : the ageing of rums in ex-whisky casks. This method gives this 1984 vintage a singular aromatic depth, where the influences of wood and malt enrich the rum profile.

An exceptional rum, marked by time

This 28-year-old fragrance reveals a complex and refined aromatic palette. Its nose mixes woody and spicy notes, sublimated by touches of vanilla and dried fruit. On the palate, its velvety texture reveals a harmony between caramel, honey and peaty and smoky accents, inherited from its passage in whisky barrels. The long and elegant finish extends this rare experience, testifying to time and craftsmanship.
