History and know-how

Located at the foot of Mount Pelée, the J.M distillery has been perpetuating an artisanal tradition based on excellence since the nineteenth century. Each cuvée embodies the purity of Martinique agricultural rum, made from fresh cane juice distilled in small series. Rhum J.M - Dame Jeanne 2025 is the result of a meticulous selection and blending work, bringing together rare vintages ranging from 2000 to 2017, aged in French and American oak barrels, new or having contained bourbon.

Profile and tasting

The nose opens with delicately vanilla oak aromas, then is enriched with gourmet notes of toasted cocoa, praline almond and candied citrus. On the palate, the power of the tannins blends with the sweetness of candied orange and toasted hazelnut, before stretching into a long and elegant finish, marked by toasted and slightly smoky nuances.

Rhum J.M

Located in the north of the island of Martinique and at the foot of Mount Pelée, the Rhumerie J.M distills and raises old J.M. rums. It was in 1914 that Jean-Marie Martin, who gave his name to JM rums, sold the property to Gustave Crassous de Médeuil.
