A signature of the HSE distillery

Located in Martinique and recognized for its high standards in terms of agricultural rum, the Habitation Saint-Étienne distillery is based on a tradition inherited from the island's sugar heritage. Its approach is based on a rigorous selection of sugar cane and on precise ageing methods that highlight the identity of the Martinique terroir. Vintage cuvées occupy an important place in this approach, allowing us to express the singularity of a year of harvest and distillation.

Long ageing in "Brume Dorée" toasted barrels

HSE - Rhum Agricole Extra Vieux Brume Dorée comes from the 2014 vintage and is aged for more than ten years in carefully selected French oak barrels. These barrels receive a specific toasting called "Brume Dorée", designed to accompany the evolution of the rum during its maturation. Bottled in cask strength, this agricultural rum retains all the intensity and structure acquired over time, offering an authentic expression of wood aging and the characteristic style of the great Martinican spirits.
