Unctuous, powerful attack, then emerges an astonishing aromatic richness, where we find the aromas perceived on the nose, but also vanilla, crème brûlée, dried banana, as well as many spices.

The whole presents a beautiful unity, without heaviness and of a very languorous sweetness.

The finish is a little more woody and astringent, while persisting for a long time on the main fruity and spicy notes.

A tasting rum above all, to enjoy for itself or at the end of the meal.

This production is limited to 5000 copies per year. This is indeed the 1993 vintage.

Our tasting notes for Cuvée la Flibuste Vintage 1993

Nose : Chaleureux et épicé, caramel cuit, miel d’acacia, pruneaux cuits, bois cirés.

Palate : Attaque onctueuse, puissante, puis se dégage une étonnante richesse aromatique, où on retrouve les arômes perçus au nez, mais aussi de la vanille, de la crème brûlée, de la banane séchée, ainsi que de nombreuses épices.

Finish : La finale est un peu plus boisée et astringente,tout en persistant longuement sur les principales notes fruitées et épicées.
