Nine years of patience in Lamentin

For this exceptional cuvée, the cellar master of La Favorite selected the best barrels among the rums distilled in February 2012. The 9-year ageing in ex-bourbon and ex-cognac barrels, in the cellars of the Lamentin distillery, has shaped a profile of beautiful complexity. Racked in July 2021 at its natural strength of 49.3%, each bottle is numbered and sealed with hand-applied wax.

Fruit, roast and fullness

The mahogany colour announces a nose that is both fruity and empyreumatic : roasted notes mixed with white-fleshed fruit, almond and ripe banana. On the palate, the attack is greedy on cooked fruit and sweet spices, evolving towards tobacco and toasted bread flavours. The finish, ample and long, mixes woodiness and balsamic touches. A very beautiful cask strength that illustrates the inimitable signature of La Favorite.
