This 2013 vintage perpetuates HSE's know-how in terms of maturation. Its passage in grand cru classé barrels enriches its aromatic palette, bringing deep tannic nuances and a rare elegance. This controlled ageing method enhances the characteristics of agricultural rum.

A bewitching aromatic profile

The nose is intense and captivating, mixing exotic woods, notes of old wine and a tannic richness evoking an aromatic symphony. With aeration, ripe fruit and tropical warmth set in, followed by a refined woody and spicy structure. On the palate, the sweetness of vanilla merges with concentrated red fruits, evolving into a delicately woody and spicy syrup. The finish, elegant and persistent, reveals a subtle salty touch reminiscent of buttery caramelized nuts.
