This 1991 vintage is singular because it marks, with the 88 vintage, the change in the age counts of 30 years.


Indeed, this vintage La Flibuste 1991 counts 26 years of aging in the cellars of the distillery.

Today, we present you again the 1991 vintage, which continues the tradition of its predecessors. This sublime vintage rum has aged for more than 26 years in Cognac barrels, which gives it delicate notes of vanilla, woody and candied fruit.

The copy presented is unique because it benefits from a personalized plaque "Cécile & Cédric" dated August 16, 2017.

Our tasting notes for Cuvée la Flibuste Vintage 1991 bottling special

Nose : Chaleureux et épicé, caramel cuit, miel d’acacia, pruneaux cuits, bois cirés.

Palate : Attaque onctueuse, puissante, puis se dégage une étonnante richesse aromatique, où on retrouve les arômes perçus au nez, mais aussi de la vanille, de la crème brûlée, de la banane séchée, ainsi que de nombreuses épices.

Finish : La finale est un peu plus boisée et astringente,tout en persistant longuement sur les principales notes fruitées et épicées.
