A balanced blend of tradition and finesse

The Heritage Emperor is a rum made from a unique blend composed of 60% traditional rum and 40% agricultural rum. Aged in part in new oak barrels, it develops a delicate roundness where vanilla intertwines with woody and spicy notes.

A gourmet and velvety rum

On the nose, the aromas of candied fruit and vanilla announce a beautiful richness. On the palate, the flavours of cocoa, spices and dried fruit unfold on a velvety texture, giving way to a slightly smoky, caramelised and spicy finish. This rum, round and pleasant, is ideal for enjoying at the end of the evening, neat or in a cocktail, especially in a revisited Old Fashioned .

Emperor

This brand new rum brand was born from the imagination of two enthusiasts, Christophe Aulner, recently installed in Mauritius, and Bruno Le Merle, a local entrepreneur. Their idea? Offer rums assembled with eaux-de vie distilled from pure cane juice and molasses. And there is a certain logic to this project seeing the light of day in Mauritius. The island was first under French (1714-1810) and then English (1810-1968) before gaining independence (1968).
