Distillery heritage

Founded in 1870, the Savanna distillery is an emblematic figure of Reunion's heritage. Known for its daring experimentation, it combines Creole tradition and innovation to offer authentic rums with a strong personality.

Ageing and maturation

Distilled in 2002 from pure cane juice in column stills , this aged rum has been aged for 7 years before being refined in Moscatel barrels, a Portuguese sweet wine. This double wooden passage gives a complex structure and a singular aromatic depth.

Distillerie de Savanna was designed and built by Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950.
