Twelve Nicaragua & Jamaica is a blended rum carefully crafted by the Aubrac distillery in Laguiole, under the direction of Florent Caston. Combining 55% Nicaraguan Flor de Caña rum distilled in columns and 45% Jamaican Clarendon rums (20%) and Worthy Park (25%) distilled in an iron still, this unique blend benefits from partly tropical ageing before being refined in France. A slight sweetening (7 g/L) rounds off the whole.

A subtle balance between power and smoothness

This rum plays on contrasts: Jamaica brings its fruity and fermentative intensity, while Nicaragua softens the whole with lighter and more structured notes. The maturation in Aubrac enriches its profile, giving it a creamy texture and a beautiful aromatic depth.

A gourmet and expressive tasting

The nose reveals a Jamaican dominance, with aromas of very ripe exotic fruits and crushed strawberry. With aeration, a minty freshness completes this generous bouquet. On the palate, the initial sweetness gives way to a gradual rise of exotic fruits, punctuated by notes of almond and resin. The finish, warm and persistent, stretches on liquorice accents and a slight sweet sensation.
