An iconic distillery heritage Caroni

The Caronidistillery, closed since 2002, remains a legend of Trinidad rum. Its distinctive character, derived from traditional methods and an aromatic profile marked by power and intensity, continues to inspire collectors and enthusiasts of rare spirits.

Exceptional ageing by Velier

Distilled in 2000, this rum has been aged for 18 years in a tropical climate, undergoing an impressive 80% evaporation. It then rested for 7 years in demijohns, a glass maturation process that refined its structure and enhanced its aromatic complexity. Bottled at 50.6% ABV for Whisky Live Paris 2025, it stands out for its rarity — only 300 bottles available — and its balance between power, elegance and depth.

Caroni

The state-owned Caronidistillery in Trinidad and Tobago closed in 2002. After 84 years of practice, she leaves behind a few column stills, ironing stills and a few barrels that will give birth to the vintages* that we offer.
