Haitian origin and know-how

From the Casimir artisanal distillery, this rum originates in the Baradères region, in the south of Haiti. Made from locally grown Hawaiian sugar cane, this clairin reflects an authentic terroir and a traditional production method, without industrial standardization. The collaboration with Velier highlights singular vintages, faithful to their origin.

Exceptional ageing and aromatic profile

Aged for 8 years in a tropical climate in an ex-Caroni barrel (#CA17CR-7), this spirit develops a rare complexity. The nose opens with aromas of honey, fermented pineapple and hay, evolving towards floral and spicy notes. The palate, ample and oily, reveals flavors of guava, raisins and Brazil nuts, with an enveloping texture. The finish, vegetal and sweet, stretches over touches of agave, black pepper and persistent minerality. This rum accurately illustrates the aging potential of the clairin.
