A Unique Journey for an Exceptional Rum
Les Frères De La Côte - Navigation 2023 Cuvée n°2 is an exceptional white rum, carefully selected and refined on board the Tres Hombresengineless sailboat. In January 2023, this rum began its journey at sea, barrelled into oak barrels that had contained Calvados from Normandy. For four months, the rum evolved to the rhythm of the waves, developing an incomparable complexity and aromatic richness thanks to this dynamic and unique aging.
Tasting Notes: A Harmonious Marriage of Flavors
This rum is distinguished by its vibrant aromas and complexity. The fresh and vegetal notes of sugar cane, characteristic of La Favorite whites, blend harmoniously with the touches of caramelized apple brought by the Calvados barrels. On the palate, the richness of the flavours evolves, offering a taste experience where the initial freshness gives way to a fruity and slightly spicy sweetness. The bottle is accompanied by a mignonette of the original white rum, allowing you to compare and appreciate the influence of maturation at sea.
