Distilled at the La Favorite distillery in Martinique, Exploration n°8 is the result of 3 years of ageing in old Cognac barrels, rigorously selected at the Navarre cooperage. This cuvée, taken from the 2021 harvest, testifies to a constant commitment to authenticity and elegance. Bottled without compromise, this rum also reflects a strong environmental conscience, with recycled paper labels containing 95% sugarcane fiber.
Tasting notes
On the nose, it opens with intense and fruity aromas, with accents of citrus, wood and spices. On the palate, the flavours of ripe fruit are combined with notes of cocoa and anise, supported by an elegant woodiness. The finish is distinguished by its length and delicacy.
