At the tasting, the XO Old Rum Hardy unfolds a range of captivating aromas. The initial notes of dried fruit, such as prunes, figs, and dates, intertwine with the gourmet flavors of cooked fruit reminiscent of a tarte tatin. Founded in 1830 by Emilien Bonneville, the Hardy plantation is located in Tartane on the Caravelle peninsula (Martinique). All that remains are the ruins of the steam engines and fermentation tanks.
