The first opus Ephémères N°1 will be in a limited edition of 3500 bottles. Its rarity is the result of a controlled distillation of pure cane juice and a prolonged ageing of nineteen years in a tropical environment without topping up or reduction.

Our tasting notes for Les Ephémères - N°1 - Brut de fûtimé vintage 2001

Nose : Belle richesse aromatique sans agressivité malgré le degré. Les notes de noix et de prune macérée se mêlent délicatement au fond boisé et torréfié.

Palate : Des notes équilibrées et rondes de fruits secs ouvrant peu à peu vers des nuances torréfiées et épicées.

Finish : Une structure charpentée pour une belle longueur.
