A blend rich in history

Inspired by the voodoo god Zaka, symbol of the peasantry and agriculture, this rum embodies Mauritian know-how. Distilled in columns, it benefits from meticulous ageing in ex-bourbon barrels and new French oak barrels, giving it a beautiful aromatic complexity.

A balanced flavour profile

The nose reveals notes of candy sugar, nuts and vanilla caramel, supported by a slight woody touch. With aeration, aromas of fruit in syrup, such as pear and pineapple, enrich the palette. On the palate, the fruity sweetness gives way to nuances of vanilla, blond tobacco and coconut milk, before a subtly spicy and spicy finish.
