Manutea Quintessence white rum 59°
A rum in the heart of Polynesia
Since 1984, the Manutea Tahiti distillery has been sublimating the richness of its island terroir. Located on Moorea, between Cook's and Opunohu bays, it uses Otahiti sugar cane , an ancestral variety grown on the neighbouring island of Tahaa and transported by schooner to be distilled on site.
Careful elaboration
Manutea Blanc Quintessence is produced without the addition of water, with controlled fermentation and distillation in a copper still . It then benefits from a six-month maturation in vats and a slow reduction by drip, preserving all the richness of its aromas.
An intense aromatic profile
This white rum reveals powerful notes of fresh cane, subtly mentholated, accompanied by touches of liquorice. An authentic and vibrant expression of Polynesian know-how, perfect for a pure tasting or in a cocktail.
