The first rum of the 2016 selection of the Tres Hombres, is also the youngest. An agricultural and organic rum. Sugar cane grows on the windy hills of the northeast coast of La Palma, "La Isla Bonita" of the Canary Islands. Harvested in May 2015, organic cane juice is fermented and distilled at "Aldea", in an 80-year-old copper column.

This white rum will rest until its embarkation on the brigantine " Tres Hombres " in November 2015. Put in French oak barrels to travel 5 months on the last sailing cargo ship around the Atlantic, a dynamic aging that brings it a particular maturity. It is then landed and bottled in Amsterdam. On the label, a Red-billed Phaeton, a bird that travels between the Canary Islands and loves only clean environments.

The rums TRES HOMBRES are transported from the Caribbean by the schooner of the same name, bottled in Amsterdam by the company Fairtransport of which les frères de la côte are representative in France.
