Michel Couvreur The Unique Whisky
A bridge between Scotland and Burgundy
Distilled in the Scottish Highlands, this malt whisky is transported to Burgundy to be aged in the cellars of Bouze-lès-Beaune. The Michel Couvreur house has a stock of sherry barrels of exceptional quality, some of which are a hundred years old. The blend is made without cold filtration or the addition of colouring, in accordance with the founder's vision: to let the cask and time shape the whisky.
The Unique, the essential expression of the house
Recognizable by its calligraphy label, The Unique offers a golden amber color. On the nose, malt mingles with notes of honey, stone fruit and marzipan. On the palate, the texture is supple and round, carried by aromas of malted cereals, vanilla and fine wood. The finish, of a controlled length, leaves a memory of dried fruit and sweet spices. An accessible and elegant whisky, a gateway to the singular world of Michel Couvreur.
