A rich and balanced aromatic profile
On the nose, elegant notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and oak delicately intertwine. On the palate, the attack reveals a beautiful harmony between butterscotch, honey and spices, evolving towards nuances of dried fruit. The finish, long and warm, leaves a lingering imprint of sweet fruit and spices, inviting a contemplative tasting.
Our tasting notes for Candid
Nose : Parfum vif et floral, bien que très frais, il est soutenu par desparfums d’amandes grillées, laissant entre apercevoir beaucoupde rondeur.
Palate : Expressif en bouche, il est vif et puisant alternant rondeur etréglisse tourbée. Des saveurs très beurrée maîtrisent sa fougue.
Finish : Vient enfin le calme après la tempête, laissant en fin de bouches’exprimer une douce fraîcheur d’amande, poivrée et épicée,portée par une structure toastée, très légèrement boisée.

Michel Couvreur is an independent bottler of Scotch whisky whose ageing cellars are located in Bouze-lès-Beaune, Burgundy. This maestro of blending and maturing considers that "90% of the quality of a whisky comes from the barrel, and only 10% from the distillation process"
